Are we all geniuses?
Friday Apr 24, 2020
Friday Apr 24, 2020
I received a question from a producer the other day about what my "Zone of Genius" is. My first reaction was: "Oh crap, I have no idea." My second reaction was: "This must be a trick question because I honestly don't believe I'm a genius in anything. I mean, how could I be a genius if there are people like Elon Musk roaming this wonderful planet?" My third reaction: "Well, I better say something, so I went on to discuss my true genius when it comes to leadership and motivation."
Therefore, I figured I'd put Brandon and Joey on the spot and find out exactly what their "Zone of Genius" was. It was fascinating:)
Also, we talk about our weeks, a couple new projects, and a whole lot more!

The Ceiling Was At My Hip
Thursday Apr 23, 2020
Thursday Apr 23, 2020
I looked at a new house yesterday to reno and rent! And I'm sure it's a giveaway in the title, but I found a bit of a surprise when I went to check out the basement. Also, I have a quick moment of realization that I may have way too much going on right now... We can always get less sleep:)

My Social Media Content Sucks...
Wednesday Apr 22, 2020
Wednesday Apr 22, 2020
I'm sorry for making shi%#y content recently. Seriously, I am. I made the mistake of trying to hard to be something or someone that I'm not. Honestly, when people started liking my page, I was pretty surprised, and then I got sucked in to trying to mimic other pages putting a huge damper on my actual thoughts and opinions. For that, I am truly sorry. And starting TODAY, it's about to get a whole lot better! 😄

I'm Reopening Three Timbers!
Tuesday Apr 21, 2020
Tuesday Apr 21, 2020
With all that's going on in the world, I figured what better time to reopen another company! Actually, it's more like three companies at once. Haha, yikes... Listen in to hear what's going on in my world and help me out with one of my big questions if you get a chance!

The Wife & I Started A Vlog
Monday Apr 20, 2020
Monday Apr 20, 2020
I know, I know... Who even starts Vlogs anymore? Aren't we a little late to the party? I suppose we are, but we aren't necessarily doing it to get famous. We are actually doing them to document where we started and the journey along the way.
With all the projects we are constantly taking on, we figured it would be pretty awesome to document the journey and hopefully show it to the world and our future kids:) Anyways, I also take a moment to talk real estate and how we're likely getting into the residential real estate game.

My Wife Got Mad At Me For Working
Friday Apr 17, 2020
Friday Apr 17, 2020
Some of my fellow entrepreneurs will relate to this one... do you ever have people get mad at you for working all the time? I sure do. And I realized something last night, it's neither my fault nor there fault. When I really thought about it, I realized I put in an absurd amount of time to produce very few tangible results in the present moment. Whether it's real estate investing or building businesses, I usually have to wait years for the payout, yet I still go to work every day for 12-16 hours (unless I'm on vacay, which I love).
Hmmm... what else. Oh ya, you'll also hear me discuss my weekend plans and who you all picked to stay on the show: Joey or Brandon.

The Boys & I Talk About Our Greatest Setbacks
Thursday Apr 16, 2020
Thursday Apr 16, 2020
Hey everyone! First off, I just want to say sorry about the audio quality problems. My microphone seemed to have some serious trouble throughout the entire show... So, I am super sorry for that. Anyways, if you do decide to suck it up, we go in depth about our greatest personal setbacks and how we overcame those setbacks.
Greatest setbacks:
Bobby spent time at an after-school program for a learning disability.
Brandon struggles to define exactly what would make him happy professionally and personally.
Joey deals with a hellish hip problem that can leave him "crippled" when it flairs up.

The Coronavirus Explained In Detail
Wednesday Apr 15, 2020
Wednesday Apr 15, 2020
In December 2019 the Chinese reported a virus spreading through their communities and we've been talking about it ever since. None of this is fun. But I'm hoping by sharing how COVID-19 actually works and how social distancing works in the long run, each of us will feel more okay-ish with the decisions being made to stay at home.

You Aren't Born Successful
Tuesday Apr 14, 2020
Tuesday Apr 14, 2020
I've heard it a million times and no it is not true... You aren't born a success. You aren't gifted with the ability to work hard right out of the womb. Seriously, my parents thought I had a learning disability because my work ethic was so poor in middle school. And now I work 12-16 hours a day because: (1) I love it and (2) I have a unique opportunity to try to do something great with my life.
Stop making excuses about being born with an ability to be great or not. Develop habits over the next 66 days and witness the impact you start to make on the world.

I'm Going To Start Being Me
Monday Apr 13, 2020
Monday Apr 13, 2020
The biggest "norm" in the entrepreneurial industry is the amount of "faking" that occurs. We all do it as entrepreneurs... We all pretend to know what we're talking about when most of us are just trying to figure things out on the fly like everyone else. We are all trying new things, testing those new things, and hoping a few of them work out.
I'm officially done faking! I'm going to be me. The 26-year-old entrepreneur that's trying to figure this world of business out just like everyone else.
Oh ya, I also answered two of your questions: (1) What's the best single day on the calendar? and (2) What are some things you've had to unlearn?
